Our compatibilizers blend materials together in a more homogenous way – creating greater dispersion and adhesion between a variety of polymers and polyolefins. Today, customers useour Yparex^® resins in everything from film applications to reduce gel size and limit surface tension; to injection molding – for maximizing impact strength and resistance.

Coupling Agents

If you need to achieve reliable chemical bonding between reinforced fibers and different polymers - you need our Yparex^®coupling agents. They boost impact strength across a range of fibers – including our EcoForte® family of glass-fiber reinforced compounds and natural-fiber reinforced compounds. Applications include composite tapes - where we deliver the best mechanical properties in the market (in both PE and PP); and PP-based wood plastic composites – where independent studies have demonstrated not only outstanding mechanical strength but a 5% lower energy consumption versus the reference material.

Adhesion Promotors

Dependable adhesion is critical in the compounding business. That’s why our Yparex^® adhesive resin and Yparex^® polymer resin (formerly known as Exxelor) are used by manufacturers worldwide to boost adhesion with a wide range of materials – including aluminum, copper, metal, thermoset rubbers and polar substrates like glass.

Impact Modifiers

When it comes to improving the impact strength of polymers, our Yparex^® polymer resins (formerly known as Exxelor) in particular have now become the industry standard for a variety of applications. Modified with maleic anhydride (a rubber-like polymer), Yparex^® is highly versatile – and flexible.
