EcoForte PP MF30 120 is a 30% natural mineral filled polypropylene compound in granular form. It is based on polypropylene with good flowability and balanced impact vs. strength. Designed for sanitary applications with nice surface quality. EcoForte PP MF30 120 can be custom colored and UV stabilized, upon request, but is usually moulded in natural colour.

Pre-drying is not absolutely necessary. Moisture content is typically < 0,2%. Moisture sensitive materials are usually packed in sealed aluminium bags or aluminium lined boxes/bigbags. If material is dried, 2-4 hours at 60ºC is recommended.
EcoForte PP MF30 120 works well within the usual bandwidth of polymer temperatures of PP based
materials, which is between 160 and 230 ºC. Feeding is usually done through the hopper of the injection
molding machine. Colour and/or UV can be added as masterbatch. Also other PP can be mixed in to lower
the mineral content.
Temperature profile from feed to injection nose: 170 – 180 – 190 – 210 – 230 ºC
Mould temperature: 30 – 40 ºC
