After his apprenticeship as a chemical technician, Frank started his career in different companies, which led him from the Cologne region to Bavaria. He returned home in 2003 when he joined CMP in Cologne, which at that time was still part of ExxonMobil Chemical.

Frank, Production Planner

Frank has come a long way at CMP: “I started at CMP as a Laboratory Operator, second in command on the shift. Afterwards I was promoted to Shift Leader. In 2022, The Compound Company acquired the production site and product portfolio of polymer resins from ExxonMobil. Then in 2024 I had the opportunity to take the next step in my career becoming a Production Planner.

As a Production Planner, I’m actively involved in production and collaborate with almost all departments. The tasks are very diverse and always interesting. Every day is different, every day brings new challenges, and it always feels good to master them. I also take care of logistics tasks, processes, and all types of consumables used in production at CMP Cologne GmbH.
