2005

Resin Products & Technology BV is founded as a spin-off from the Hartman plastics factory, a leading Dutch garden furniture manufacturer based in Enschede, the Netherlands (founded in 1983). Resin BV builds an experienced team and impressive infrastructure based on polyolefin compounds that now serves customers in the building & construction, automotive, and household sectors.

2010

Resin Products & Technology BV develops and produces the versatile family of thermoplastic performance compounds under the brand name EcoForte.

2011

Resin Products & Technology BV acquires the Yparex extrudable adhesive resin provider from DSM thus enabling the expansion of its technical, R&D, and service capabilities – all aimed at serving a growing global customer case.

2016

PT Resindo Compounding Technologies is formed as a joint venture with Polymindo Permata based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Resindo is a specialty thermoplastic compounder that develops and produces polyolefin-based compounds and composites for the Southeast Asian market.

2017

A new company name is announced for Resin Products & Technology BV and Yparex BV: The Compound Company. The organization has two product brands: EcoForte® performance compounds and Yparex extrudable adhesive resins.

2018

The Compound Company acquires Transmare Compounding BV, in Roermond, The Netherlands. This toll compounding specialist brings expertise in many compounds and masterbatches – all supported by a flexible machine park; and its own research facilities and quality department.
A second grafting plant in Enschede has been built at the port area at De Ossenboer.

2022

The Compound Company acquires the production site, product portfolio and customer base of Exxelor polymer resins – from ExxonMobil in Cologne, Germany. Exxelor® is a chemically modified polyolefin-based resin family that boosts the performance of engineering thermoplastics and other polymers.

2025

The Exxelor products are officially renamed to Yparex, a globally recognized and established brand that The Compound Company has been using for many years within the modified polymer business.
