PT Resindo Compounding Technologies has been formed in 2016 as a 50/50 joint venture in Tangerang (Jakarta, Indonesia) between PT Polymindo Permata (Viro) and The Compound Company.
Resindo, specialist in compounding of thermoplastics, develops and manufactures specialty polyolefin-based compounds and composites for customers in Southeast Asia, across segments that include automotive, roofing and flooring, wall cladding, carpet backing, tiles, infill for artificial turf, garden furniture, packaging, and electrical appliances.
In addition to providing toll compounding, Resindo produces and sells both standard and customized compounds, consistently tailored for customer needs, with a strong focus on safety and sustainability.
The portfolio includes halogen-free flame-retardant compounds; high-performance natural fibre-reinforced compounds, glass-fibre reinforced compounds; biopolymers; and Yparex® extrudable adhesive resins and Yparex® tie-layer resins.
Resindo also has a majority-owned subsidiary, PT Teak Polymer Composites, specialized in the manufacturing of Wood Plastic Composites (WPC).
